The below mentioned products are manufactured from wheat based glucose syrup. As a result of the various processing and purification steps used to produce the glucose syrup only traces of protein can be found in the products. Total protein (Nitrogen x 5.7) is far below the maximum set in the Codex Standard 2.2.2 118-1981 and therefore the products can be classed as free from gluten according to this Codex standard.

Whilst the products are exempt from labelling rules on the indication of allergenic ingredients set out in the Food Labelling (Amendment)(England)(No.2) Regulations 2004 and are suitable for inclusion in the Coeliacs Society food list, we cannot advise on individual dietary acceptability and would advise that you seek medical opinion if you are unsure.
